Alpha – ville Festival, in London, takes place in 22nd – 25th of September 2011. Alpha-ville festival is a London based International Festival of Port Digital culture. It explores the intersection between art, technology and society and for this edition we are collaborating with various venues and spaces in London such us The Victoria & Albert Museum, Whitechapel Gallery, Rich Mix Cultural Foundation, Space Studios, Vortex Jazz Club, Netil House, XOYO and Hearn Street Warehouse to bring along an extensive 4-day event featuring social media art, kinect art, interactive installations, open labs, workshops, performances, screenings, live music & A/V shows, a one-day symposium and more! The Fair opens with a special preview 13 May 6pm, and will be open during the weekend 14 + 15 May. Two new artist books by Cecilia Westerberg at Hurricane Publishing. They will be sold at the Art Book Fair. One is a folded book with 8 drawings with the title HAN,HUN, HENDE and the other is a flip book with 117 pages with the title Momenti Mori. The artist book Post It by Cecilia Westerberg & Lars Skinnebach is a part of the show Art + Text . Art + Text is a project dedicated to the passion for book objects, art publications, artists’ books, rare old items and brand new publications. Art + Text consists of three parts: curated exhibitions, the annual Art Book Fair, and a live part with presentations, talks, debates and confessions.
